Clear Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Frontend team to architect and build the next generation of Clear Street Active, a high-performance trading platform. You will work with real-time market data, low-latency workflows, and advanced trading tools to deliver a performant web interface.

You will join a collaborative team of engineers focused on quality, tooling, and maintainability, using a modern stack (TypeScript, React, Tanstack, Tailwind).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building web apps.
• 3+ years with modern web tech at senior level.
• Expert in high-performance, scalable web apps using TypeScript, React, TanStack, Tailwind.
• Prioritize end-user experience in API design, functionality and performance.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Team-first mindset and pride in quality of work.
• Passion for developer experience, tooling, performance and maintainability.
