Job summary

Slate, the creative workspace for brand social teams, is hiring a senior frontend engineer to build a canvas-based editor used by global brands. You will extend the editor with PixiJS/WebGL, implement responsive interactions, and shape collaboration features such as co-editing and approvals.

You’ll work with an international remote team, own architectural decisions, and ship impactful features quickly while maintaining high craft standards. Strong Angular/TypeScript and RxJS skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building complex frontend applications.
• Deep Angular and TypeScript knowledge — you architect components, not just use them.
• You think in RxJS and reactive patterns naturally.
• Experience with interactive graphics or video editing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build creative tools people love using: extend the canvas-based editor and implement new features with PixiJS and WebGL.
• Grow the collaboration layer: ship co-editing, commenting, and approval workflows that teams actually use.
• Work with designers and specialists to ensure high quality, performant interfaces and robust editor architecture.
