OpenKrill seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer (Analytics Product Lead) in the United States to lead frontend development for an advanced analytics platform serving global financial markets. You will shape technical direction, build scalable interfaces in React/TypeScript, mentor engineers, and advocate accessibility, testing, and code quality.

This remote role emphasizes ownership and measurable product outcomes.

Qualifications

At least 10 years of software engineering experience.
Minimum 5 years React experience in production.
Proven track record leading frontend technical decisions.
Experience in fintech or financial data environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Frontend technical leadership for DataLab product and Mission Control team.
Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable web interfaces using React/TypeScript.
Guide frontend architecture decisions, reusable UI patterns, and implementation standards.
Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Promote high standards for code quality, security, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
Contribute to unit, component, and end-to-end testing (Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, Storybook).
Adopt and promote AI-assisted coding workflows and tooling.
Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement in frontend practices.
Evolve frontend stack with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Nx, Material UI, and modern tooling.
