Job summary

Openkrill is seeking an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to build, maintain, and test features for a large‑scale cloud management web console. You will own frontend features end‑to‑end, working with React and TypeScript in a mature codebase with a strong emphasis on testing and quality.

The role requires writing unit and integration tests alongside feature development, collaborating with distributed teams, and ensuring robust API integration and state management within a shared component

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with feature work.
• Experience integrating frontends with REST APIs.
• Experience contributing to large, shared production codebases.
• Experience with Git, PRs, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience using GenAI-assisted coding tools in development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve production frontend features using React and TypeScript.
• Develop complex forms, configuration workflows, dashboards, and interactive experiences.
• Apply strong React fundamentals: hooks, state management, architecture, reusable patterns.
• Translate product and UI/UX requirements into reliable interfaces.
• Work within an established design system and shared components; use existing tooling.
• Contribute to shared frontend components, libraries, and engineering patterns.
• Own features from requirements through testing, deployment, and verification.
