Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is looking for a strategic UX/CX Architect to lead end-to-end design across employer, member, and broker audiences. You will steer architecture and delivery teams to deliver intuitive, accessible, secure experiences with scalable platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration, research validation, and roadmap development, including Salesforce integration and experience layer alignment. Remote with periodic in-person planning and review sessions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience focused on UX/CX and self-service.
• Strong understanding of customer journeys, workflows, and digital engagement.
• Experience mapping insights into technical architecture and platform design.
• Familiarity with automation, APIs, and modern integration patterns.
• Knowledge of UX/CX metrics and measurement approaches.
• Effective communicator aligning teams around architecture and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and oversee delivery-team implementation of end-to-end customer and internal experiences.
• Review UX/CX research, wireframes, and data models to create a phased architecture roadmap.
• Map journeys across employer, member/employee, and broker audiences and translate into platform improvements.
• Shape platforms, data models, APIs, and integrations for the delivery-support ecosystem.
• Drive innovation with experiments and proofs-of-concept to boost usability and satisfaction.
• Act in Agile Release Train, guiding teams while keeping UX and service quality central.
• Mentor engineers and partners on customer-first architectural practices.
