Job summary

Bitwarden is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer (Autofill) to own browser extension autofill and form change detection. You will build and maintain UI automation tests and improve user experience across modern web UI patterns in all major browsers.

You will collaborate with an open source community, contribute to code reviews, and help document technical solutions. This is a fully remote role for candidates in North America with a strong background in JavaScript and front-end

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of browser UI behavior and DOM manipulation.
• Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and modern frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Experience with browser extension development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Bitwarden’s browser extension autofill and form change detection.
• Develop and maintain a suite of browser UI automation tests.
• Improve autofill and form detection with new UI patterns.
• Participate in code reviews and share technical knowledge.
• Contribute bug fixes from the user community.
