Job summary

charity: water is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to own the revenue budget and multi-year forecasts. You’ll partner across teams to coordinate inputs and translate financial data into insights for leadership decisions.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance, you’ll drive the organization’s long-range financial planning, performance analytics, and KPI reporting with a focus on revenue performance and strategic guidance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in strategic, analytical, and finance roles.
• Experience forecasting, long-range planning, and analytics.
• Elite Google and Microsoft Suite skills: Google Sheets and Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Looker or similar systems.
• Ability to own and drive multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of revenue streams, donor restrictions, expenses, and business rules shaping strategy.
• Oversee revenue side of annual budget, monthly actuals reporting, and forecasts.
• Review and pressure-test revenue forecast inputs and set risk-adjusted revenue for planning.
• Build and own integrated multi-year financial model for long-range planning.
• Set input requirements, standards, and deadlines for multi-year model inputs.
• Lead financial performance analytics, including ROI reporting and ad hoc analyses.
• Partner with stakeholders to shape growth-oriented financial and KPI goals.
• Prepare monthly financial results for leadership and Board/Finance Committee.
