Job summary
Rimkus is seeking a senior toxicology professional to evaluate claims related to chemicals, microbial agents, and toxic exposures in consumer products, drugs, and work environments. The role combines independent work with collaboration across the Toxicology Practice Team and client interaction. You will lead risk assessments, develop business, prepare testimony, and manage case work while maintaining strict confidentiality and using Zoom/Teams for remote communication.
A Ph.D. or M.S.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. degree in toxicology or related field
- 5+ years of direct experience in industry toxicology-related roles
- Experience reading and summarizing forensic, scientific, and legal documentation
- Strong business development and client communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Publication record
Responsibilities
- Lead chemical risk assessments and evaluation of exposure and health risks
- Prepare testimony and communicate findings to clients and Rimkus leadership
- Manage case load and budget development
- Collaborate with team and support business development
- Proficient in using online meeting tools (Zoom/Teams)
- Support litigation and regulatory toxicology needs
