Ignite HR Solutions and our Clients is seeking a Forensic Toxicologist as an Independent Contractor. This role involves providing expert scientific consultation and testimony services predominantly remotely, with opportunities to analyze complex legal scenarios in criminal and civil cases.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to convey complex toxicology concepts clearly. A bachelor's degree in a related scientific field and laboratory experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related laboratory experience in testing blood and other bodily fluids.
• Experience with microscopic techniques.
• Forensic/Criminology laboratory background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review laboratory results, toxicology reports, and medical records.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports and expert opinions.
• Provide expert testimony at depositions and trials.
