Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial control, with a strong preference for experience in tech or e-commerce industries.
• Proven experience managing month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and relevant South African accounting and tax legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and enhance internal controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively remotely.
• Proficiency in financial ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
