Job summary

Alliance Solutions Group, a Sage Intacct partner for the construction industry, is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to partner with the leadership team and shape planning, measurement, and decision-making. This fully remote role includes quarterly travel for leadership offsites and reports to the CEO on the Executive Leadership team.

• 7–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance leadership.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with multi-year forecasts and ROI models.
• Strategic and commercial mindset that connects finance to business outcomes.
• Exceptional executive communication skills for senior leadership and boards.
• Proven leadership capability with building and guiding teams.
• Ownership and bias toward action in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team with financial and business perspectives.
• Act as the financial business partner to department leaders and translate data into insights for decisions.
• Collaborate with Head of People on workforce and organizational planning and resource allocation.
• Build business cases, model scenarios, and articulate ROI and risk for initiatives.
• Own the company’s financial planning and forecasting framework (budget, forecasts, long-range plan).
• Develop financial models and business cases for growth initiatives and pricing decisions.
• Own performance against EBITDA, incentives, recurring revenue, and other metrics; flag risks and opportunities.
• Connect financial planning to the broader strategic plan and communicate drivers to leadership.
• Partner with CEO on board and investor reporting and prepare clear financial narratives.
• Lead, develop and partner with the Controller and Finance team to improve processes and controls.
• Oversee order-to-revenue components, deals booking, billing readiness, and handoffs with Sales/Delivery.
• Evaluate and improve Finance systems, processes, and automation for scalability.
• Own revenue and commercial analytics at the strategic level and explain causes of performance.
