Job summary

Questex, now Forge, is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee the logistical execution of high‑impact events ranging from 500 to 5,000 attendees, with budgets up to $2M. This remote role supports teams across venues, show management, health and safety, sustainability, and housing logistics using Cvent and Smartsheet.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in live events, strong vendor management, and cross‑functional communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing large-scale live events (500–5,000 attendees).
• Proficient with Cvent and Smartsheet for registration and project tracking.
• Experience managing budgets up to $2M.
• Deep knowledge of venue operations, GES, rigging, and health & safety.
• Strong cross-functional communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings/holidays in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee event operations and cross-department communication.
• Liaise with venue and GSC/GES contractors.
• Manage third-party vendors for activations.
• Develop Health & Safety and Sustainability plans.
• Finalize F&B orders and review BEOs.
• Oversee housing blocks using Cvent and manage budgets.
• Oversee signage production and placement.
