Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the enterprise data warehouse ecosystem. The role focuses on dbt Core models, medallion architecture, and enterprise pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Data Engineering Operations, you will ensure data quality, performance, and governance in a distributed data environment while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; 5+ years of hands-on experience building dbt Core pipelines in production.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain dbt Core models across medallion architecture.
• Integrate MDM workflows into medallion-layer transformations.
• Build enterprise data models for analytics, reporting, and downstream use.
• Optimize SQL and dbt Core transformations for performance and scalability.
• Design robust pipelines with monitoring, testing, and CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with Data Management & BI and Strategy & Research teams to ensure data quality and governance.
