Horizon3.ai is a remote cybersecurity company developing NodeZero and autonomous pentests. We lead Client Platform, the teams that keep NodeZero runners updated and secure across customer environments, with two sub-teams: Image Build & Release and OTA Services.

We value ownership, rigorous reviews, and scalable architecture. Travel up to 5% may be required; base salary ranges are disclosed and equity may be offered.

Qualifications

• Led teams that design, build, and operate containerized software deployed in customer environments.
• Implemented robust software supply chain practices: secure builds, image signing, reproducible builds, and vulnerability scanning in CI.
• Designed and operated OTA update mechanisms for distributed agents at scale (staged rollouts, rollback, verification).
• Ability to reason about correctness in opaque, customer-controlled environments where failures are not observable.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow Client Platform to ~10 engineers across sub-teams; manage Engineering Managers; set technical and cultural direction.
• Own end-to-end CI/CD workflows for NodeZero runner image signing and publishing; ensure supply chain security.
• Architect and operate OTA update system across thousands of environments; ensure reliability and security with minimal customer intervention.
• Collaborate with Security Research to integrate new autonomous capabilities into runners.
• Act as Product Owner; partner with PMs, researchers, and customer success on client-side roadmap.
