Job summary

Jobgether in the United States is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to design and build reliable APIs and backend services for complex document workflows. You will contribute across the full stack, from API development to AI integrations and user-facing features, balancing performance and reliability in production.

You will own projects end-to-end, collaborating with domain experts and engineers to deliver high-quality technical solutions and impactful products in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript with solid design principles.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with databases, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern architectures.
• Hands-on experience with document processing workflows and AI/LLM integrations.
• Proficient in software testing, debugging, performance optimization, and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs, backend services, and document processing workflows.
• Own features from planning through release and optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to address complex workflows.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into production systems balancing quality and speed.
• Improve user-facing interfaces across the full stack for document tasks.
• Translate user requirements into engineering plans and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
• Enforce engineering standards via testing, reviews, and monitoring.
• Contribute to technical and product decisions for demanding environments.
