Job summary

Our client in the Retail & Consumer Goods space is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Engineer - IT Endpoint Engineering (Remote) to strengthen endpoint security across a large enterprise. The role emphasizes automation, threat hunting, and defensive capability improvements.

You will design automation workflows, monitor endpoint health, manage access-related security controls, and participate in on-call rotations to keep security tooling current and effective.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management platforms like Tanium, SCCM, or Intune.
• Experience deploying software and patches across large environments.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Experience in scripting or automation, such as PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation workflows for data collection and incident response.
• Develop threat hunting strategies and capabilities.
• Propose new technologies and methodologies for detecting malicious activity.
• Monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management.
• Support routine upgrades and platform maintenance during on-call rotations.
