Job summary

Delta Dental is seeking a Senior Legal Analyst to support the Legal Department on employment, labor, and benefits matters. You will perform complex research, assist attorneys, and help manage documents, case files, and training materials.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation and strategic proposals to address issues impacting the enterprise workforce. The position requires strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills, with experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or paralegal certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of recent law firm or corporate legal dept experience focused on labor/employment law.
• Strong legal research using Lexis/Nexis or Westlaw to evaluate regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support employment and labor attorneys with complex workplace issues.
• Manage time-sensitive employment law projects and legislative monitoring.
• Coordinate documents and knowledge sharing for active litigation and benefits matters.
• Develop and manage internal employment tracking systems and policies.
• Assist with preparation of standard employment documents and training materials.
• Provide regular status updates and act as escalation point for significant issues.
