Job summary

Arthrex is seeking a Sr II - Embedded Product Security Engineer (Remote) to join our security team. You will help secure connected and IoT medical devices, participate in architecture reviews, and document Secure Product Development Framework steps for regulatory submissions worldwide.

The role focuses on security analysis, defenses, and countermeasures across product lifecycles. Travel may be required to support teams on the west coast and in various global contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Cybersecurity.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience.
• Experience securing embedded or IoT devices and related hardware/software design.

Responsibilities

• Design security architecture for components or systems and modify designs to improve security.
• Develop threat scenarios and design responses to mitigate risk.
• Lead security testing planning and execution across product lifecycles.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security departments to ensure compliance.
