Job summary
TE Connectivity is seeking a Sr. Embedded Coder to join a small aerospace software team. You will design and implement firmware for ARM Cortex and 16-bit MCUs, follow DO-178 processes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
This remote role requires strong debugging skills and hands-on experience with LabVIEW, Python, and MATLAB. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver safe, certified electronics for power distribution and aerospace applications, while
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering or equivalent work history.
- 5-7 years of embedded software experience with DO-178 context.
- U.S. Citizens Only (ITAR, CUI, NOFORN).
- Experience with embedded software languages and debugging firmware.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and 6S.
- Experience with Agile and waterfall development approaches.
- Understanding of DO-178 certification process from design to certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop new and revise existing firmware for aerospace electronics.
- Follow full software development lifecycle per DO-178.
- Maintain GitLab pipelines for test automation.
- Generate deliverables and proper documentation.
