Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced estimator to lead electrical, technology, and low voltage estimates for Mission Critical and Government projects. You will manage scope, develop detailed takeoffs, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners from concept through documents.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of estimating experience, with strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; minimum 8 years estimating experience in Electrical/Technology/Low Voltage.
• Extensive knowledge of Electrical, Technology and Low Voltage systems and ability to formulate advanced cost scenarios.
• Strong vendor and trade partner relationships to obtain current pricing and bid opportunities.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills; ability to multitask under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for complex projects with MEP scope and $25M+ contract value.
• Communicate estimate scopes to project staff, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, analysis, and studies for Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage systems.
• Develop bidder lists and coordinate with suppliers and trade partners.
• Perform constructability analysis and contribute to design and life cycle cost discussions.
