Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, via WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for BESS engineering and AI-enabled tooling in a remote, 1-year contract. You will design, analyze, and validate systems for utility-scale storage projects and help automate workflows with modern software tools.

Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in power/industrial infrastructure, with strong understanding of protection, grounding, and interconnection.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years engineering experience in power, energy, data center, or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of power system fundamentals: one-line diagrams, protection and controls, grounding, arc flash, and interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Engineering & BESS Design: review diagrams, specs, calculations, and designs for utility-scale BESS and inverter-based resources.
• Engineering Tool Development & AI Enablement: identify repetitive workflows and build automation tools and dashboards using AI-assisted development platforms.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate software development, testing, documentation, and maintenance, and promote responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
