Job summary

BlockReel seeks a Senior Editor for a psychological short film with memory-driven storytelling. You will assemble footage, refine pacing, and shape emotional arcs while collaborating closely with the director to sustain an atmospheric tone.

This paid position runs 3–4 weeks starting in late October 2026. Remote work is preferred, with occasional in-person reviews in Austin. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve is required; please provide a reel of narrative work.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in narrative short film editing.
• Strong storytelling ability and sense of pacing.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
