Clearwaters.IT is seeking a remote Senior EDI MUMPS developer to design, develop and maintain applications in a legacy MUMPS/Caché environment for healthcare systems. The role requires collaboration with business analysts and participation in testing activities, including Beta IOC with active medical centers.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of software development experience, strong communication skills, and experience with EDI and HL7/FHIR standards.

Qualifications

10 years of direct software development experience in MUMPS/Caché.
Strong experience with MUMPS/InterSystems Caché and legacy healthcare systems.
Experience designing, coding, and unit testing.
Proven ability to work with customers and end users.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions in a legacy MUMPS / Caché environment.
Perform coding, unit testing, and debugging to support ongoing system enhancements and maintenance.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions and provide support for requirements analysis.
Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Participate in Beta (IOC) testing activities with active medical centers, including issue resolution.
Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
Provide documentation of technical designs, processes, and system behavior.
Work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team to meet project deadlines.
