Job summary

Defense Unicorns is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, Edge, to lead GTM strategy for UDS Fleet and drive growth across defense edge environments. You will define positioning, create technical content, enable Growth teams, support feature launches, and shape packaging and adoption in distributed environments.

You will serve as a product evangelist, translate complex tech into clear customer value, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and leadership to strengthen market

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical product marketing or related function.
• Experience owning technical go-to-market programs.
• Demonstrated experience launching a new technical product, platform, or major feature.
• Experience introducing products without an established category or messaging base.
• Strong working knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
• Strong working knowledge of edge computing, distributed systems, or software deployment in remote environments.
• Deep understanding of modern software development and DevSecOps.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, containers, APIs, and platform engineering.
• Strong technical and creative writing skills for non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional interpersonal and public-speaking skills.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Experience working with defense or federal customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
• Define target audiences, positioning, messaging, and product narratives.
• Support product naming, launch planning, adoption, and post-launch optimization.
• Establish the go-to-market foundation for products entering new or undefined markets.
• Establish deep technical expertise across the Defense Unicorns product portfolio.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value.
• Create solution briefs, white papers, technical blogs, and web content.
• Develop presentations, launch materials, videos, demos, and use-case narratives.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on repeatable technical demonstrations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Translate market intelligence into positioning and recommendations.
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve marketing execution.
• Serve as a product evangelist for Defense Unicorns.
• Communicate the value of Defense Unicorns capabilities within the defense industry.
• Provide recommendations that improve products, services, and market adoption.
• Operate effectively amid ambiguity and establish structure for new market offerings.
