Moderna is seeking a Sr. Director, Regional Sales, West to build, lead, and develop the West Region Oncology Sales team, driving regional sales strategy and execution for a co‑promoted solid tumor oncology asset.

This role partners with an alliance and cross‑functional leaders to ensure launch excellence and robust field execution across complex accounts. You will recruit top talent, develop strategic account plans, and translate market insights into actionable plans that impact patient outcomes

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, with demonstrated experience in oncology and field account strategy.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading oncology sales teams.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Must reside within the assigned geographic region.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and lead the West Region Oncology Sales team, recruiting and developing sales professionals to deliver on sales goals and performance KPIs through effective product communication, execution of brand strategy, and collaboration with internal and alliance partners.
• Develop and execute regional strategic account plans that leverage market insights to strengthen customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and facilitate growth within targeted accounts to support the successful launch of intismeran.
• Collaborate internally and with our alliance partner to ensure effective, coordinated engagement of key accounts, and account leadership, compliantly tailoring the brand strategy to influence value drivers within each account.
• Expertise in clinical data, disease state, and account management to provide direction to the field team and insights to the commercial organization.
• Identify market trends and opportunities and proactively communicate with Oncology leadership.
• Develop a high‑performance culture by consistently providing coaching, performance management, and ongoing development for field teams.
• Lead from the front through the frequent engagement of customers while partnering with the sales team exemplifying the skills, behaviors and attitude required to be successful by selling an innovative product in a complex environment and creating a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Use data and digital tools to prioritize opportunities and monitor field performance, adapting quickly to emerging trends or needs.
• Represent Moderna at high‑level external engagements, including conferences, scientific forums, and engagements with key oncology stakeholders.
• Partner as a peer with cross‑functional leads across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and the alliance ensuring a high level of communication and coordination to foster a positive customer experience.
• Manage and deploy resources to ensure the achievement of objectives and manage regional budgets to ensure appropriate utilization of funds.
• Ensure full compliance with Moderna policies and all applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
