Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Director, Solutions Architecture to lead a team of eight Solution Architects within the PaaS Delivery organization. In this player-coach role, you’ll set the technical and business standard for how Cohere designs solutions for large healthcare platforms like claims systems and utilization management infrastructure.

You’ll partner with solution owners, engineers, TPMs, and QA to keep design in sync with delivery.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years in solution architecture, technical consulting, or similar client-facing technical roles with healthcare experience.
• 5+ years directly managing a technical team of solution architects, FDEs, or similar.
• Experience with large, complex healthcare platforms (claims systems, utilization management) and enterprise systems.
• Ability to lead in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and make decisions without perfect information.
• Strong technical judgment and people leadership; comfortable coaching through tough conversations.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of eight Solution Architects, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
• Own the solution architecture operating model and capacity planning for a growing portfolio of implementations.
• Set design quality standards, guide clients to existing functionality, and document BRD/FRD and future-state workflows.
• Engage with customers where possible; say yes where feasible, and push back constructively when needed.
• Own escalations when design is contested, infeasible, or at odds with commercial commitments.
• Balance workload and account assignments as new implementations ramp up.
• Collaborate with Solution Owners, FDEs, Platform Configuration, QA, and TPMs to align design with delivery timelines.
• Represent Architecture in cross-functional planning and with client executives on complex accounts.
• Build repeatable training materials, templates, and playbooks to standardize quality.
