JFF is seeking a Senior Director, Government Development in the Washington, DC area. This senior leader drives federal/state government grant strategy, capture, and proposal excellence, managing a two-person Government Development team and cross-functional partners to advance JFF’s North Star goals.

You will shape strategy, identify opportunities at the intersection of education, workforce, and economic development, and ensure strong submissions and program launches after awards.

Formación

• 15+ years of experience in public sector business development, grants, or related leadership roles.
• Proven track record leading federal/state grant and contract pursuits in workforce development, education, or economic development.
• Strong proposal development, editing, and management skills with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent relationships with federal/state/local government clients and DMV region stakeholders.
• Experience with pricing, budgets, and cost proposals for government opportunities; CRM/PM tools experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead government revenue strategy, capture, and relationship development with public agencies.
• Oversee proposal development, cross-functional teams, and project delivery for complex procurements.
• Guide staffing, budgets, pricing, and partner engagement for government opportunities.
• Foster a disciplined go/no-go process and effective handoffs post-award.
• Model JFF values and drive an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
