Jobs For The Future (JFF) seeks a Senior Director, Government Development to lead strategy, capture, and proposal development for federal, state, and local government funding. The role drives public sector revenue, builds relationships with agency clients, and guides bid strategies across multiple opportunities.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in government fundraising, a track record of successful complex proposals, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage partnerships

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in public sector business development, nonprofit leadership, capture, grants, contracts, fundraising, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead government revenue strategy and capture across federal, state, and local government grants and contracts.
• Assemble and manage cross-functional proposal teams and ensure timely, compliant submissions.
• Guide pricing, budgets, and staffing plans for government opportunities.
• Build and lead a two-person Government Development team and collaborate with Finance and Operations.
