Abeona Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Program Manager to lead cross-functional development programs in a remote US-based role. You will translate strategy into integrated execution plans and influence portfolio-level decisions across the organization.

This role focuses on advancing cell and gene therapies from preclinical stages through IND-enabling activities. Reporting to Program Leadership, you will drive governance, planning, risk management, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific field (MS/PhD/MD/PharmD) with 15+ years of cross-functional PM experience.
• Direct experience managing cell and gene therapy development programs.
• Ability to synthesize complex project data into risks and actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with planning systems and tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for portfolio programs and guide major decisions.
• Develop integrated program plans, critical paths, and milestones.
• Manage risks, resources, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
• Produce executive-ready dashboards and status reports.
• Coach and mentor program-management colleagues.
