Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a Sr. Director of Network Administration (Remote - US Base). You will oversee the Americas network strategy, design, operation, and improvement of corporate and cloud networks, leading a team of engineers and aligning with Global Network Teams.

You will ensure security, standards, and performance across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role requires strong leadership, enterprise network experience, and collaboration with vendors and business units to deliver reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Master's degree preferred in related field.
Minimum 5 years managing a large, complex enterprise network.
Experience leading large technical projects with strong communication.
CCNA or CCNP certification desirable.
SDN and cloud environments experience a plus.
Experience with cloud-based telecom systems/technologies.
Maintaining Cisco routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls.
Wireless networking enterprise experience.
Ability to manage and mentor network engineers.

Responsibilities

Design and implement LAN, WAN, and Wireless architectures.
Lead a team of network engineers in the Americas region.
Ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance.
Develop network standards and policies; document changes.
Standardize configurations across regions.
Develop network designs for multi-project delivery with redundancy and security.
Oversee network technology roadmap and budget planning.
Provide Level 3 network support for the Americas region.
Maintain security with Info Security teams and architecture groups.
Collaborate with Global Network Teams and Vendors.
