Job summary

WellSense Health Plan is seeking a Senior Director - Encounters Technology Operations to lead delivery and support for submission of Encounters to MassHealth and NH DHHS. You will ensure timely, accurate submissions and oversee end-to-end processes, collaborating with Business Encounters Operations, IT, Finance, Compliance, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years managing data and operational analysts.
• 7+ years leading Encounters operations for a healthcare plan.
• Experience delivering and auditing Encounters submissions to regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Encounters Operations Team to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Establish quality protocols and end-to-end processes for Encounters data management.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Compliance and other departments to coordinate submissions and audits.
• Estimate IT Encounters Operations costs and track budget against plan.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data privacy in Encounters data handling.
• Manage vendor relationships and contractual agreements for Encounters initiatives.
• Respond to regulatory audits and requests in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvement across the Encounters submission lifecycle.
