Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a senior leader to guide the Quantitative Pharmacology team within QTR, overseeing PK/PD and regulatory submissions across development stages. The role mentors junior scientists, shapes SOPs, and interacts with toxicology, DMPK, and biomarker groups to drive programs forward.

The candidate will support strategic development plans, lead cross‑functional teams, and ensure high‑quality pharmacology deliverables for IND/NDAs and pediatric programs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing and executing clinical pharmacology strategies for early‑ through late‑stage programs.
• In‑depth knowledge of PK/PD, drug metabolism, and biomarkers relevant to small molecules and mAbs.
• Hands‑on PK/PD data analysis and modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical pharmacology strategy across all phases of drug development.
• Lead SOP/working process development and manage junior scientists.
• Provide input on dose finding, exposure‑response, and pediatric development.
