Job summary

Squarespace, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Director for the Client Engagement Group to lead the strategy and execution of the CRM, email campaigns, automations, and transactional communications that empower our merchants to build lasting relationships.

You will report to the President, own multi-year vision, mentor PMs across product lines, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Marketing to drive revenue growth while leveraging Squarespace data and AI.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product management, with meaningful experience in customer engagement, CRM, or related fields.
• 5+ years of leading and developing product teams in complex, multi-product environments.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement and email/service provider landscapes; ability to differentiate from competitors.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year product vision and strategy for the Client Engagement Group (CEG), including CRM, email campaigns, automations, and transactional channels.
• Own the Email Campaigns business line end-to-end: report on revenue, develop engagement and GTM strategies, and guide roadmap with commercial/marketing partners.
• Build a competitive, full-featured platform by investing in CRM, automations, flexible channels, and advanced segmentation.
• Lead, grow, and mentor a team of product managers across multiple product lines, upholding hypothesis-driven development and customer-centricity.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to deliver outcomes and remove blockers, maintaining velocity on high-priority initiatives.
• Integrate CEG with other Squarespace ecosystems to ensure product alignment across the platform.
• Champion the use of Squarespace data and AI to create smarter automation flows and personalized customer engagements.
• Shape processes and standards for senior product leadership at Squarespace.
