Job summary

A+E Global Media in New York seeks a Senior Director to define and drive the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy across Consumer Products and Corporate Technology. You will lead automated, AI-enabled engineering programs to accelerate delivery, improve developer productivity, and ensure secure, scalable services worldwide.

The role oversees Platform Engineering, Site Reliability, and security operations, coupling strategic investments with an enterprise roadmap and executive-level

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Progressive leadership experience managing enterprise Platform Engineering and DevSecOps.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success building modern cloud-native engineering platforms.
• Deep understanding of Platform Engineering, SRE, security, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled software development capabilities and autonomous practices.
• Experience managing enterprise technology budgets and vendor relationships.
• Strong executive communication and organizational transformation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy.
• Lead the evolution of engineering platforms for developer experience, scalability, and efficiency.
• Establish enterprise standards for platform architecture, automation, and delivery.
• Drive adoption of IDPs, IaC, cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes, and release engineering.
• Build reusable engineering capabilities enabling secure and efficient delivery.
• Provide leadership, budgeting, and vendor management.
