Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a visionary Application Security Director to lead enterprise security for applications, secure development, and software supply chain risk across the organization.

You will guide multiple teams, set governance, and act as a strategic advisor on risk management, AI-enabled security, and secure-by-design practices with a focus on resilient, scalable security across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Min 6 yrs of experience in Information Security.
• Min 4 yrs of Application Development (new).
• Min 4 yrs of experience in a Leadership role.
• Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise Application Security vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead teams responsible for application security testing, secure SDLC, DevSecOps, API security, and software supply chain risk.
• Shape strategy by influencing investments, security architecture standards, platform direction, and remediation priorities.
• Develop departmental plans, priorities, and governance outcomes to improve security maturity.
• Lead strategy for critical apps, cloud environments, and emerging technology initiatives.
• Drive AI-enabled application security initiatives and secure-by-design practices across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with FS-ISAC and industry forums to exchange security intelligence.
