Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking an Application Security Director to lead our enterprise security vision for applications, secure development, and software supply chain risk across multiple teams.

You will influence cyber risk governance, partner with executives, and drive secure-by-design practices, DevSecOps, AI security, and cloud-native security while building a resilient security culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Min 6 yrs of experience in Information Security, preferably in the Operations domain.
• Min 4 yrs of Application Development (new)
• Min 4 yrs of experience in a Leadership role
• Associate's Degree

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise Application Security vision, strategy, operating model, governance framework, control objectives, and multi-year roadmap aligned to business, technology, and cybersecurity objectives.
• Provide leadership across managers, professional staff, and related teams responsible for application security testing, secure SDLC, software assurance, DevSecOps, API security, AI security, and software supply chain risk.
• Translate complex technical risk into executive-ready business narratives for risk committees, audit committees, regulators, and senior leaders.
• Lead strategic collaboration across the financial services sector to exchange application security intelligence and best practices.
