Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an Application Security Director to lead managers and professional staff responsible for enterprise application security, secure development, software assurance, cloud-native security, API security, and emerging technology risk.

This role defines strategy, governs risk, and drives collaboration with executives, FS-ISAC, and industry peers to strengthen resilience and secure innovation across digital platforms and internal systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in information security with focus on application security.
• Minimum 4 years in application development.
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership role.
• Associate's degree required.
• Preferred: 10+ years across security disciplines and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise application security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead multiple teams across secure development and software supply chain.
• Communicate risk to executives and regulators.
• Represent security in strategic vendor engagements.
