Job summary

SSP International, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Advancement to lead fundraising strategy and donor engagement for a $1 million annual goal.

This senior role partners with the CEO and Board to design and execute a comprehensive plan in a fully remote environment. You will manage major gifts, foundations, corporate partnerships, and alumni programs while building a strong development team and infrastructure to support growth across national initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, philanthropy, business, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• Advanced degree and/or CFRE credential is preferred.
• 10+ years of fundraising or advancement experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational strategy into actionable fundraising strategy and multi‑year plans.
• Directly manage a portfolio of significant donors and prospects and close gifts.
• Build and lead a remote advancement and alumni relations team with a collaborative culture.
• Oversee CRM and gift processing, reporting, and donor engagement.
