Job summary

The University of Missouri Academic Technology seeks a Senior Director of Academic Technology and Design Services (AT/DS) to lead system-wide academic technology, online design and media services for the Columbia campus. This remote role requires travel 5-10%.

The Senior Director will set strategy, lead high-performing teams, and maintain a portfolio of services to promote faculty excellence and student success across modalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7+ years of experience.
• Experience leading large-scale academic technology ecosystems.
• Ability to translate vision into governance and action across units.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a unified academic technology strategy across the UM system.
• Oversee LMS implementations and digital learning platforms.
• Partner with academic leadership and IT to drive adoption of technologies.
• Lead online learning experiences and design services for online programs.
