Job summary
First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to own end-to-end automation, cloud provisioning, and secure CI/CD pipelines. You will lead IaC efforts with Terraform and Ansible, implement container orchestration via Kubernetes/OpenShift, and collaborate with security and application teams to ensure reliable deployments.
The role requires strong scripting, automation, and experience across AWS/Azure, DevSecOps practices, and enterprise-scale pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or 4+ years in software development and maintenance.
- Alternate path: High school/GED with 8+ years of software experience.
Responsibilities
- CI/CD implementation and maintenance of automated pipelines.
- Infra management with IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
- System monitoring, logging, and reliability improvements.
- Security as code across the pipeline and infra.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve delivery.
- Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Analyze requirements, plan scope, and estimate timelines.
