Job summary

First Citizens Bank is recruiting a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer for a fully remote role that can be filled in NC, TX, AZ, or GA. You will drive data processing system projects from requirements through installation, lead CI/CD development, and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.

You will collaborate with Development, QA, App Security, Governance and IT teams, implement security controls in the pipeline, and provide on-call support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and automated compliance checks.
• Strong automation scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD implementation and maintenance to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure management using IaC tools to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
