Job summary

Leader Bank is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and support its cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS, EKS, Terraform, and CI/CD platforms. The role enables secure, scalable application delivery via cloud-native solutions, automation, and DevSecOps practices.

You will collaborate with engineering and security to modernize the platform and improve reliability. You will help implement platform standards, support microservices, and drive operational excellence across the technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years designing, building, and operating AWS-based infrastructure and DevOps platforms.
• Experience managing Kubernetes environments, preferably Amazon EKS.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
• Solid understanding of AWS core services (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability tools, and incident response.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS DevOps/Architect certifications or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage EKS clusters and containerized workloads for modern platforms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, testing, and releases.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for platform reliability.
• Handle cloud networking, security, IAM, and access controls.
• Support microservices and APIs with platform standards and best practices.
• Automate operational processes to boost efficiency and resilience.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement preventive measures.
• Create runbooks and technical docs; maintain knowledge base.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and infra teams to modernize platform.
