Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to design scalable deployment pipelines and elevate our continuous delivery practices across multiple environments.
You will collaborate with application teams, release management, and client stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable DevOps solutions. You will build and govern Harness-based pipelines, configure Argo CD/Rollouts, and replace Jenkins with maintainable low-code approaches while integrating SAST/DAST/SCA tooling and producing reusable
Qualifications
- 7+ years in DevOps, CI/CD, release engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and improving pipelines using Harness.
- Hands-on experience configuring Argo CD and Argo Rollouts.
- Experience replacing custom scripts or Jenkins with Harness capabilities.
- Experience integrating DevSecOps tools (SAST/DAST/SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve reusable Harness pipelines for development, sign-off, pre-production, and production environments.
- Implement governance, security controls, approval workflows, and deployment standards in Harness pipelines.
- Configure and troubleshoot Argo CD and Argo Rollouts to resolve deployment issues.
- Replace Jenkins-based wrappers with native Harness capabilities and low-code solutions.
- Integrate DevSecOps tools into pipelines and document onboarding patterns and runbooks.
