Job summary

Centex Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer IV to design, automate, secure, and operate reliable delivery platforms that support Centex Technologies' programs and customer environments. This role emphasizes ownership of difficult work, clarity, and collaboration across technical, program, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent directly relevant experience.
• Seven+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability, cloud engineering, or related experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, cloud services, source control, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to design secure, resilient automation and explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for repeatable, traceable software delivery.
• Build reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and configuration automation for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Define observability, capacity, availability, backup, recovery, and incident-response practices.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex platform, pipeline, performance, and integration issues.
• Embed security scanning, secrets management, access controls, and compliance evidence into delivery workflows.
• Partner with software, cloud, security, QA, and program teams to translate delivery needs into platform capabilities.
