Job summary

Bring a Trailer is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer II to modernize the platform, automate infrastructure, and support rapid engineering delivery. You will drive migration to AWS, implement AI-assisted workflows, and ensure secure, scalable operations across services including Lambda and DynamoDB.

You will collaborate with development teams, define multi-account strategies, and contribute to quality gates and deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years deploying and supporting high-traffic web applications.
• 5+ years in AWS serverless (Cognito, Lambdas, Step Functions, DynamoDB).
• Proficient with Terraform or AWS CDK and coding/scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
• Ability to translate requirements into specs, incl. AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure through automation.
• Lead migration efforts to AWS while maintaining current systems.
• Build tooling to speed software engineers’ work, incl. AI agents.
• Collaborate with Dev teams to design secure, highly available apps.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
