Job summary

LocalStack is a fast-growing startup building a local cloud development platform that enables AI agents and developers to test and ship cloud-native apps. We seek a seasoned Developer Advocate to raise our profile in the developer community, especially in San Francisco and beyond.

You will create regular content, organize events, and cultivate external partnerships while collaborating with product, engineering, and GTM teams to deliver real value to developers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Advocacy or similar outward-facing role.
• Hands-on experience in cloud and cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP etc).
• Experience building external partnerships through joint events, content, and webinars.
• Experience linking product, engineering and GTM for market insights and turning them into features.
• Familiarity with agentic SDLC workflows and local sandboxes for AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Be LocalStack’s visible face in the developer community, maintaining a high-cadence speaking presence at meetups, conferences, and community events in SF and beyond.
• Build a regular slate of LocalStack events in the region, including meetups, workshops, and hackathons.
• Develop ecosystem partnerships through co-created content, becoming a peer to regional dev-tool leaders and co-creating content and webinars.
• Ship technical content developers use, publishing blogs, tutorials, videos, and demos, and contributing to docs and reference integrations.
