Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer for a fully remote role supporting EPA end-user devices across the enterprise. You will provide Tier 3 desktop engineering, configure and deploy SCCM/MECM solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable endpoints.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of desktop engineering experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of desktop engineering experience, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM tools.
• Proven ability to manage customer requests and set expectations.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 end-user hardware support across EPA locations.
• Deploy and manage specialized software and configurations for end users.
• Assist with patching and updates of EPA-approved applications.
• Coordinate with Tier 4 vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders to tailor activities locally.
