Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Senior/Staff Design Engineer to join a fully remote team building a modern Loan Origination System. You will own projects from wireframes to production, influence product direction, and help scale design systems while collaborating with product and engineering teams to simplify complex mortgage workflows.

The role emphasizes accessibility and frontend craftsmanship.

Qualifications

5+ years in Design Engineer, Frontend Engineer, or Full Stack Engineer roles shipping production code.
Minimum 5 years operating at a Senior Engineer level.
Production-level experience with React and TypeScript.
Deep proficiency with Figma, including libraries, variants, and auto-layout.
Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
Strong frontend engineering background with exceptional design sensibilities.
Experience building accessible applications with ARIA, keyboard navigation, and focus management.

Responsibilities

Own projects from wireframes to production, influence product direction.
Build scalable design systems and component libraries.
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to simplify complex workflows.
Deliver high-quality frontend code and design work with strong user focus.
