Job summary

Vistrada is seeking a Senior DBT/Snowflake Developer for a fully remote role aligned to Eastern Time. You will design and maintain dbt models in Snowflake, build ELT pipelines, and develop Tableau dashboards for finance, tax, and revenue analytics.

You will collaborate with finance, tax, and audit stakeholders to deliver auditable, governable data and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with timely datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance.
• 10+ years in data engineering/BI roles, incl. 3+ years building dbt models on Snowflake.
• Working understanding of financial data, tax and revenue reporting, and internal controls (SOX).
• Advanced SQL with Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau.
• Strong data modeling (dimensional/star) and ETL/ELT design; data quality practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models in Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines and automate data extraction from source systems.
• Build and support Tableau dashboards and certified data sources for finance, tax, and accounting stakeholders.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close with timely, reconciled data and reporting.
• Provide data, documentation, and historical/point-in-time extracts for audits.
• Implement SOX-aligned controls, testing, change management, and access governance.
• Establish data lineage, documentation, and automated data quality tests.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and provide analytics support to finance and tax teams.
• Monitor and tune Snowflake performance and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
• Document data models and processes; manage multiple projects end-to-end.
• Communicate technical details effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
