Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Data Scientist - Supply Chain for a leading Food & Beverages company. This remote, US-based role emphasizes forecasting accuracy, model deployment, and real-world impact across the supply chain.

You will collaborate with business and tech teams to translate complex challenges into scalable data science solutions, shape model governance, and mentor junior staff. Strong ML, coding, and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, or statistics with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's with 6+ years in data science.
• Expert-level understanding of ML techniques including classification, regression, clustering, and deep learning.
• Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies with 1-2 years of experience.
• At least 1+ years of experience with a major cloud platform for ML model development to deployment.
• Proven ability to write production-grade code in Bash, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of forecasting, optimization, and machine learning models while managing multiple projects.
• Design and implement advanced ML and deep learning models for real-world supply chain problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align data science solutions with business needs.
• Own the model development process from inception to implementation, including documentation and model drift management.
• Mentor Associate Data Scientists and Data Scientists in data science practices and stakeholder interactions.
